BMS is backed by more than 30 years track record in the arrangement of funding packages for its clients. Unusually, the firm provides a specialist service and offers a broader base of financial products than most of its international competitors, deliberately seeking out the large, the difficult and the unusual cases.

We operate in many countries both in Europe and elsewhere and have locally based associates and "partners" who work closely with us to provide a seamless service.

BMS is a Commercial Finance Brokerage House with some 35 years of international trading experience, and has during this time entered into formal Associate Agreements with other professional practices, such as international law and accountancy firms and NOMADS. BMS has ‘Umbrella’ arrangements in place with a number of these Associated firms who are authorised under the FSA to provide advice as to securities and investments. BMS have ensured that in acting as the broker to its clients, it is able to source in house-house additional advice that is often required. The Formal Associate status BMS shares with such firms has an additional advantage, in that such professional practices will often act on a contingency arrangement, working with the Client and BMS as one entity on a ‘no deal no fee agreement’. Using these umbrella facilities enables BMS to take a transaction from start to finish, whether the raising of funds via an IPO or in using an AIM, an AIM shell or via a private equity route’.

RICHARD SPICER, J.P.

Richard Spicer is the Senior Partner of Bank Management Services. Unlike most other brokers, Richard has the wealth of knowledge and experience to operate internationally across a wide range of markets and customer needs.

He made his name within the financial sector building up the biggest brokerage business in Europe before arranging its successful trade sale. This gave him the financial muscle and time resources necessary to research and then develop BMS within its unique niche in the marketplace.

As training officer of NACFB, he was instrumental in helping law enforcement agencies work towards stamping out some of the illegal or sharp practices that have existed on the fringes of the industry.

GEOFF BARROW, LL.B., A.C.A.

Geoffrey Barrow is a partner of Bank Management Services. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as holding a Law Degree. Geoffery is an experienced Financial Manager and has several years' experience at Board level in SME's across a range of industries.

Unlike most brokers Geoffrey has particular strength in working closely with owners in development of Management Information Systems in small, growing companies.

He made his name within Angle Management Services Limited in Lanacashire/Shropshire and was the Consultant involved in the development, maintenance and operation of Management Systems for a large variety of companies.

Geoffrey has significant experience of change management for expanding businesses and restructuring those in difficulty.

PAUL DICKINSON

Paul is a Senior Consultant with BMS. His prime forte is the field of asset backed finance. Paul has gained his experience, and built a reputation, in both the lending and broking markets. He held a senior post with an asset lender for some twenty years before broadening his experience in the broking field.

Equipment finance is one of Paul's specialist fields and in knowing from the inside how lenders work, has provided him and BMS with a great advantage.

Paul's wide knowledge and experience in advising and providing asset funding to a number of diverse industries, makes him a valuable member of the BMS team.
